Matt Long (born May 18, 1980 in Lexington, Kentucky) is an American actor who played the teenaged Jack McCallister on Jack & Bobby.
Biography
25 year old growing actor, Matt Long was born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Winchester, Kentucky. With a solid interest in the acting business at a very young age, Matt Long pursued the seeds of his dreams by performing in his elementary school plays. Matt continued to foster his love of acting at Western Kentucky University and after graduating, he moved to New York to continue his acting career. As Matt began performing at acclaimed Williamstown Theatre Fest, his manager booked his first commercial. Not long after, the critically acclaimed new WB drama series Jack & Bobby found Matt Long to play the leading role of older brother Jack McCallister. Matt Long played Jack McCallister, the popular, athletic girl-magnet high school track star who had to deal with his changing relationship with his younger brother, Bobby McCallister (played by "The Butterfly Effect"'s actor Logan Lerman). Matthew Long now experiences enjoyable hikes and outdoor activities in Los Angeles where he films his new tv series. Matt remarks, "There was a time I thought about being a professional guide. I'm a big outdoorsman, but the acting thing has always been there - always something I wanted to do".Matt Long worked on the series, with costars Christine Lahti, Logan Lerman, Jessica Paré, Edwin Hodge, and John Slattery, for one year.
He is currently wrapping up production for Ghost Rider, where he will play a young Johnny Blaze. Adult Blaze will be played by Nicolas Cage.
