Masato Matsuura (松浦真在人 Matsuura Masato, born October 1, 1964 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan), better known as Max Matsuura, is a record producer and actual president of one of the largest music labels in Japan, Avex Trax. He is known mainly for discovering and developing new artists and convert them into big stars. Ayumi Hamasaki is the living proof of that. He also is known for reviving Ami Suzuki's career after she was fired by her previous record label.
