Maximum Exposure
Encyclopedia : M : MA : MAX : Maximum Exposure
Maximum Exposure (or simply Max X) is a reality TV show which featured video clips on a variety of subjects. Based on its slogans, it was targeted at teens and young adults especially on its wording. It even singled itself out as it showed videos from other reality shows, especially its predecessor show Real TV. Cam Brainard played the "smart-aleck voiceover dude" host. Each episode of the show was an hour long, and aired in syndication from 2001 to 2003. Reruns now air on Spike TV. The show was produced by Paramount Pictures and RTV News.
Although it was noted for its fast-paced action and its thorough analysis through slow motion replays, one can notice running gags throughout the show indicating that Brainard had a bias for sexy women and men with "sweet" mullets, as well as making fun of the French, the Russians, and the Canadians, especially those who are intoxicated.
