Food offered at most Canadian McDonald's outlets
The McDonald's Menu varies during the day. Lunch items such as hamburgers and fries are not served during breakfast time (from store open or 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM everyday). Most breakfast items are not served at any time except breakfast.Burgers
- Hamburger: One piece of regular meat, mustard, ketchup, onions, and a pickle slice on a regular bun.
- Cheeseburger: One piece of regular meat, mustard, ketchup, onions, and a pickle slice on a regular bun with a slice of American cheese.
- Bacon Cheeseburger: Dressed the same as a cheeseburger, bacon added.
- Double Cheeseburger: Two pieces of regular meat with mustard, ketchup, onions, two pickle slices, and two slices of cheese, which separate the two pieces of meat, all on a regular bun.
- Bacon Double Cheeseburger: Dressed the same as a double cheeseburger, bacon added.
- Big Mac: Two pieces of regular meat, special Big Mac sauce (similar to thousand island dressing), onions, two pickles, shredded lettuce, and cheese, served on a sesame-seed bun, with an additional semi-bun separating both beef patties.
- Double Big Mac: Dressed the same as a Big Mac, except has 4 pieces of regular meat.
- Quarter Pounder: A larger hamburger or cheeseburger, which weighs a quarter pound (4 ounces or 114 grams) before cooking; compare with regular meat weighing 1/10 pound (45 grams). In most markets unfamiliar with Imperial measurements it is known as the Royale with Cheese, as famously explained in the film Pulp Fiction.
- Double Quarter Pounder: Dressed the same as a quarter pounder, except has 2 quarter-pound patties. (1/2 lb)
- Big Xtra: A quarter pound hamburger patty with optional cheese, served with ketchup, mayonnaise, onions, two pickles, leaf lettuce, and a tomato slice on a sesame seed bun. Devised to resemble Burger King's Whopper sandwich. It is also known as the Big N' Tasty in America, McXtra in Quebec, Quarter Pounder Deluxe in the United Kingdom, and McNifica in Mexico.
- Double Big Xtra: Dressed the same as a Big Xtra, optional cheese, except has 2 quarter-pound patties.
- French fries: Fried in vegetable oil, crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. When the fry station is not kept clean, fries become too salty according to some customers.
- Filet-O-Fish: A fish burger with tartar sauce and a half-slice of cheese on a steamed bun.
- McChicken: A chicken sandwich made from 50% white meat and 50% dark meat, topped with mayonnaise and shredded lettuce.
- Bacon Ranch McChicken: A McChicken with bacon, lettuce, and ranch dressing instead of mayo. (Thunder Bay, Ontario or select locations Only)
- Junior Chicken: A mildly spicy or "tangy" - as described by some customers - chicken burger on a regular bun, topped with shredded lettuce and mayo. This product is the same size as a cheeseburger, and is codenamed "Savoury Chicken". This product is new and only available in select cities.
- Chicken McNuggets: Small chicken pieces made from chicken served with a dipping sauce. Formerly a combination of white and dark meat, they are now all white meat. Available in 4-, 6-, 10-, and 20-piece sizes.
- Crispy Chicken: A breaded, fried chicken breast served on a sesame-seed bun with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato.
- Chicken McGrill: Same as the Crispy Chicken, but with a marinated, grilled chicken breast. Both the Crispy and Grilled Chicken are derivatives of the failed Arch Deluxe sandwiches.
- Chicken Selects: Premium chicken breast strips served with a dipping sauce. Sold in 3-, 5-, and 10-piece sizes.(2004) (NOT AVAILABLE IN SOME CITIES)
- Grilled Cheese: 2 toasted buns with cheese inside, optional bacon.
Children's items
- Happy Meal: A child's meal, consisting of an entree (Hamburger, Cheeseburger, 4-piece Nuggets, or Grilled Cheese), fries and/or Apple Slices and/or McDonaldland Cookies, drink, and a promotional toy. Introduced in 1979. On Tuesdays in select cities, all happy meals receive $1.40 off for kids night.
- Mighty Kids Meal: Dressed as happy meal only cheeseburger becomes double cheeseburger.

- Egg McMuffin: Canadian bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on English muffin. (1973)
- Sausage Burrito: A breakfast burrito containing egg, sausage, peppers, cheese, and onions. McDonald's offers Picante sauce, available in mild and spicy, specifically for this burrito.
- Sausage McMuffin: biscuit (American sense) sandwich with sausage and optional egg
- Bacon Egg and Cheese McMuffin: Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit
- Hotcakes
- McGriddles: A breakfast sandwich with sausage, bacon, and/or egg with cheese, sandwiched between maple-syrup filled griddle cakes.
- Hash browns: fried potato cakes served during breakfast.
- Sausage, Egg & Cheese Bagel: A bagel with sausage topped with en egg and a cheese slice (similar to a 'Sausage Biscuit').
- BLT Bagel
- Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissan'wich: A breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon pieces topped on melted cheese and an egg, sandwiched between two croissants (also 'Sausage Egg and Cheese Croissan'wich': replaces bacon pieces with sausage patty)
Salads
- Oriental: Assorted greens topped with juicy mandarin oranges. Comes with a package of oriental noodles, and a spicy Low-Fat balsamic dressing. Option of warm crispy or grilled chicken on the salad.
- Bacon Ranch: Assorted greens topped with bacon, and comes with ranch dressing. Option of warm crispy or grilled chicken on the salad.
- Caesar: Caesar salad that comes with Caesar dressing and an option of warm crispy or grilled chicken on the salad.
- Side Salad: The substitute for fries, about 1/3 the size of entree salads. Choice of dressing, no meat!

- *Cone: A vanilla cone with a small amount of ice cream.
- *Sundea: Comes plain, fudge, strawberry, or caramel.
- *McFlurry: A mix of either oreo, smarties or strawberry shortcake and ice cream; blended with the very spoon you eat it with.
- Fruit and Yogurt Parfait
- Baked Apple Pie: Available year round, these babies are baked throughout the day. The number found on the box is when they expire during the day. Apple Pie is good for 4 hours after baked, so if the package says 4, then the pie was baked at noon.
