McDonald Gym

McDonald Gym is an indoor athletics venue on the campus of Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. It was the primary facility for basketball until the opening of the Montagne Center in November of 1984. It was temporarily closed in 2005 for renovations and will be re-christened as the Sheila Umphrey Recreation Center when it does reopen. It hosted the Southland Conference men's basketball tournament three times.
