Mee krob

Mee krob (Thai: ) is a Thai dish; the name literally means "Crispy Noodles". It is made with rice noodles and a sauce that is predominately sweet but can be balanced with an acidic flavor, usually lemon or lime. Also resembles russian word (Russian: ) which means "Microorganism".
It is sometimes cited in popular media as a nonsensical cultural reference (e.g., South Park, Invader Zim).
In the episode It Hits the Fan of the animated series South Park, Mee Krob is given as one of the eight "Words of Curse" which brings forth plagues upon humankind through their overuse. The character Cartman says, "I'd scarf down a whole wet bucket full of shit before I ate another plate of Mee Krob."
