On April 6, 2006, Meg announced a mistake on the back cover of her new book, Party Princess. In New Zealand and Australia, the picture on the back features the author Georgia Byng instead of Meg. Meg said, "Don't worry. The copies of Princess Diaries 7 with Georgia Byng's picture on the back are being pulled from shops, and swapped for copies of the book with the correct author's photo (mine) on the back."

Cabot has stated that the series will end at its 10th book, when Mia finishes her senior year of high school.

The Princess Diaries series has so far spent 38 weeks on the New York Times Children's Series Best Sellers List and has been sold to publishers in 37 foreign countries. As of 4/14/06, the series is currently #4 on the New York Times bestseller list.

The Mediator Series; Young Adult Novels

Cabot has stated this series is finished. The books are about a 16 year old high schooler, Suze Simon. Suze is a 'mediator', meaning she has the ability to talk to ghosts. She then moved to Carmel, California with three step-brothers. To make things worse, her new bedroom comes complete with the very cute ghost of a man named Jesse, who died 150 years ago.

The first four books were originally released under the pseudonym Jenny Carroll, but were reprinted under Cabot's real name in 2005 with the release of Twilight in hardcover.

Jessica Mastriani is just your average normal girl. Yeah, right. Jessica is anything but normal. Instead of 4H or clubs, she has long stints in detention. Thank God for hot bad boys like Rob Wilkins.

But this is not the only reason Jess isn’t a normal girl. There’s one other small problem. Okay then, a rather large problem, she has acquired a power that helps her find missing people after getting hit by lightning.

But if you think that is bad wait to you hear what the U.S. Government wants her to do. They want to her to find missing people. Yup, that’s right find missing people. Even the ones that don’t want to be found.

So now Jess has to choose whether to use her powers for good or for …evil.
