Meirionnydd district 1974-1996

Meirionydd is the Welsh spelling of Merionethshire. It is also the name of a former local government district that covered roughly the same area, but since the formation of unitary authorities in 1996, it has been demoted to an area covered by an area committee of Gwynedd council.
