The Mercedes-Benz W463 was a large SUV sold as the G-Class or Geländewagen. It was introduced in 1990, replacing the W460/W461 G-Class which was gone out of the model program in 1993, and was announced to be replaced for 2006 by a unibody truck based on the W164 M-Class, however, due to popular uprising, particular in southern California, where the vehicle is popular, the G-Class will be produced for the 2006 model year.
