Mi Chico Latino was the second solo single of Geri Halliwell and second single from her debut solo album Schizophonic. The single was more successful and had more promotion. It was released on August 16, 1999. The single peaked at number-one in UK and Canada, it became the first number-one solo single of Geri Halliwell in both territories. It sold 372,00 copies in U.K and was forty-second best seller of 1999. There are references to the 1960 Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita.
