Micah Ortega (born on May 31, 1976 in Greeley, Colorado) is best known as a guitarist for Five Iron Frenzy. His constant absence from rehearsals prompted the song “Where Is Micah?” on Five Irons’ album Our Newest Album Ever!.

Rap Side Micah

Even while with Five Iron, Micah has sought to improve his musical repertoire. Using the pseudonym DJ Mizzicah he DJ’ed on Brave Saint Saturns' So Far from Home.

Micah also shows his hip-hop talent touring and recording with Soul-Junk. His involvement with the avant-garde group began in 2000 when Five Iron and Soul-Junk toured together with 5 Minute Walk Records. Mizzicah appears on the Soul-Junk EP 1942, and later on the album 1958.

In 2003 he produced an EP entitled Rap Music with “Alan the Fisherman” (R. Alan Brooks II).
