Michael Beck (born February 4, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA) is an American actor born as John Michael Beck Taylor. He is known predominantly for his roles in Xanadu (1980), his performance as Swan in the hit film The Warriors (1979), and his turn as Dallas in Megaforce (1982), which garnered him a Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actor. Beck also appeared in other movies such as Warlords of the 21st century.

Beck starred in a short-lived television series, Houston Knights (1987), in which he played the role of Sgt. Levon Lundy.

Today he lives with his wife and children, in California. He has been mistaken for singer-songwriter Steve Winwood, whom he resembles.

Michael has narrated numerous books by John Grisham. He has also narrated "Confederates in the Attic" by Tony Horwitz; "A Darkness More Than Light" by Michael Connelly; "State of the Union" by David Callahan; and the unabridged version of Bill Clinton's "My Life". He also recently lent his voice to the popular video game version of The Warriors.
