Michael M. Crow is the 16th and current (as of 2006) president of Arizona State University, having succeeded Lattie Coor as of July 1, 2002. ASU has undergone several major changes since he assumed the leadership position, including research efforts such as the Biodesign Institute; however, these changes have come with several costs, including a dramatic reduction in on-campus parking (and subsequent dramatic increases in parking costs) and significant tuition increases.

Previously, he was employed by Columbia University as executive vice-provost.
