Michel Therrien (b. November 4, 1963 in Montreal, Quebec) was a head coach for the National Hockey League's Montreal Canadiens (77-77-15). Michel led the Habs for three seasons, taking them to the playoffs once. Michel has also coached in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the American Hockey League. He led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL to an exceptional start to the 2005-'06 season, before replacing Ed Olczyk mid-season as coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins in December of 2005.
