Miguel Ángel Moratinos

Miguel Ángel Moratinos (b. June 8, 1951 in Madrid) is a Spanish diplomat and politician, a member of the the Socialist Workers' Party. He currently serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (since April 18 2004).
Between 1996 and 2003, Moratinos was the European Union Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process.
