Mikael Colville-Andersen

Mikael Colville-Andersen (born January 29, 1968) is a British-Danish writer/director based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

His debut feature, (2003), which he wrote, directed and played a starring role, premiered at the [Copenhagen International Film Festival]. It is a love story between two disenchanted members of a generation that places emphasis on individualism rather than love and represents one of the few examples of independent film film to come out of Denmark.

He has written and directed several short films, including the award-winning short Breaking Up in 1999 and founded the first pan-European organisation for screenwriters: [Euroscreenwriters]in 1997.

His most recent achievement is winning the prestigious [Prix Italia] award at the 57th Prix Italia for Best Website. The [Hans Christian Andersen Bicentenary Website] was produced for [The Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR)]

Colville-Andersen is also an acclaimed artist and writer.
