[] at NFL.com Mike Henry (born August 15, 1936 in Los Angeles, California), American professional football player and actor. Probably best known for his role as Tarzan in the 1960s, Henry also appeared as dim-witted Junior in the Smokey and the Bandit films of the late 1970s. Played professionally for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1958-61) and the Los Angeles Rams (1962-64).

During production of Tarzan and the Great River (1967), a chimp bit Mike Henry on his jaw line, which took twenty stitches to sew up. Soon after, Henry became fevered from the bite, delaying filming for nearly two weeks.
