Miki is located northwest of downtown Kobe and is bounded to the south and east.

History
The city was founded on June 1, 1954.On October 24, 2005, the town of Yokawa from Mino District merged into Miki City.

Miki is accessed with Route 175 and an expressway.Miki has prefectural roads numbering 20, 22, 23, 83 and 85.
