Mikuni Shimokawa

(born 19 March 1980 in Shizunai, Hokkaido, Japan) is a J-pop singer and songwriter. She is best known for her songs and vocal performances used for anime theme music. In addition to her vocal talents, Mikuni can also play the piano. She is a former member of the girl group Checkicco.
