Barbara Bush and Millie
Mildred Kerr Bush (January 12, 1985 – May 19, 1997) better known as Millie, was the pet springer spaniel of Barbara and George H. W. Bush. She is credited as the author of Millie's Book: As Dictated to Barbara Bush (ISBN 0688119131). In 1989, Millie gave birth to Spot Fetcher. Spot would become George W. Bush's dog and was later another presidential pet.
She died in 1997 of pneumonia.
