Milo Aukerman (b. 1964 in Lomita, California) is most widely known as frontman of the Punk Rock progenitor Descendents. His lyrics and performances are fueled by rejection, caffeine, and his nerdiness. He is regarded by some as one of the most influential punk rockers of the last twenty-five years.
Most Descendents album covers feature a drawing of Milo in cartoon form, doing a nerdish activity.
He has been married since 1996 and has two children, which he claims is the most difficult thing he's ever done. Aukerman also holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry.
