In the Cabinet of Canada, The Minister of Industry (French: Ministre de l'Industrie) is responsible for overseeing the federal government's economic development and corporate affairs department, Industry Canada. Since February 6, 2006, the Minister of Industry has been the Hon. Maxime Bernier. The Minister of Industry also the minister responsible for Statistics Canada.
