4-HO-MiPT (Miprocin) is a hallucinogenic, psychedelic, and entheogenic drug.
Chemistry
Miprocin is 4-hydroxy-N,N-methyl-isopropyltryptamine. Its full chemical name is 3--1H-indol-4-ol. It is classified as a tryptamine derivative, and as an indole compound.
Effects
An experience on 4-HO-MiPT can be compared to psilocybin/psilocin, which are also tryptamines/indoles.
Dosage
An oral dose is usually 10-25mg. Reports of insufflation provide dosage similar to oral consumption, with a shorter come-up and shorter duration.
Dangers
To date, there have been no reports of deaths from 4-HO-MiPT. It is a fairly rare compound with no toxicology studies as of 2005.
