Miranda de Ebro

Miranda de Ebro is an industrial city in the north-east of the province of Burgos in Spain on the border with the province of Álava and the autonomous community of La Rioja. According to a 2005 census conducted by [Spain's National Institute of Statistics], it has a population of 37,664 inhabitants. The city is crossed by the river Ebro, which, divides the city in two parts
The city is an important transportation hub, especially as a railroad juncture, as there are numerous cities in the surrounding 80 kilometeres, including Burgos, Vitoria, Logroño and Bilbao.
