Modern History
Encyclopedia : M : MO : MOD : Modern History
Modern History is history, generally happening in recent times. It does not address issues in the future, as they have not happened and as such can not truly be speculated upon. However, if not studied in a short enough time frame, it becomes normal history. This is a topic of much ire of those who get degrees in Modern History only to discover their degrees are no longer valid.
This may directly be related to Modern Times (history) but in the events of Modern History such a redirect has not been invented. When a redirect is invented it will further raise ire amongst many with degrees in the field as these changes will render those degrees obsolete.
