Mold Inspection
Mold Inspection is the process by which a certified and or trained professional performs a visual evaluation or investigation of a property or residence. The primary purpose of the investigation is to determine if the indoor levels of mold spores (conidia), hyphae or other structures that could cause allergic reactions are present at unhealthy indoor levels. Typically, indoor air quality analysis is conducted using air sampling equipment (ie. biopump) and the samples are sent to a third party laboratory for analyis under direct microscopic examination or via culturing methods. If indoor levels of allergens are found to be present at unhealthy levels then mold remediation may be recommended to remove contaminated materials, filter the air and ensure that the property is safe for occupancy.
Process Usually Includes:
- Preliminary Assessment & Data Collection
- Qualitative walk through/ Visual Inspection.
- Qualitative and Quantitative Diagnostics.
