Monterrey metropolitan area

The Monterrey metropolitan area refers to the conurbation around the city of Monterrey, officially called Zona Metropolitana de la Ciudad de Monterrey or ZMM (English: Metropolitan Zone of Monterrey).

The Monterrey metropolitan area is composed of the cities of:

Monterrey
San Pedro Garza García
Guadalupe
San Nicolás de los Garza
Santa Catarina
Escobedo
Apodaca
García
Juarez

There are four adjacent towns that are not yet part of the urbanized area, but are considered strategic as the metropolitan area grows and integrates them:

Santiago
Ciénega de Flores
Salinas Victoria
Pesquería
