Their first head coach was Pascal Jobin. He was fired. Ed Jones became the second head coach and he was fired also. Nevio Marzinatto is now the head coach. Tito Destin is the general manager.
The Matrix went in the playoffs in their first year. They won their first playoff game against the Ohio Aviators. They were in the final 16 teams before losing to the Maryland Nighthawks

The Montréal Matrix are an American Basketball Association team based in Montréal, Quebec. They will play, starting in the 2005-2006 season out of Centre Pierre Charbonneau.
