Moon Hee-jun 문희준 (born 14 March 1978, Seoul) is a South Korean musician formerly of the group H.O.T. "Alone" is the debut album of H.O.T.’s former member Moon Hee Jun. The music and the words of all the tracks in the album, except for "I Byul I A Nim Eur," which was an adaptation of "Auld Lang Syne," were written by Moon, making this album a showcase of his many talents.

The song narrates HeeJun's feeling for departing his beloved fans.

Although his body is in the army, his mind and soul is still with his fans. All of his unforgettable memories are collected inside of "a village called Memory".

This song is about how a person is suffering from bullies

in the society. This song is written in that person's standpoint and it emphasis how difficult and painful it is to live in a world where people scold at you, push you aside all the time which often leads to self-detests. This song is like a continuation of songs about the society during H.O.T time.

Criticism

Before H.O.T. split in the early 2000's, there were many detractors of Moon. It appeared that some overacting fanatics of H.O.T. made other people unpleasant to have bad feelings about the group. This became a significant social phenomenon in South Korea after Moon became a solo artist; uncountable parody pictures, texts, and musics of him flooded over the internet. Feeling that these were unfair insults, Moon once appealed for people to stop this in a newspaper interview, and the article about it on the web recorded more than 320,000 comments because of his detractors swarming on it, called seongjisullye(성지순례; literally means 'pilgrimage'). People who dislike Moon have expressed the following reasons:

Beginning activities as a solo, Moon claimed that he was now a )rock musician. Since he was formerly an idol star of teenage girls, orthodox rock fans had opposed this.
It is believed that Moon have said a lot of things quite impertinent; for example, "I've been working on my new album, eating only 3 cucumbers per day because rock is a music genre of hungry people". However, no obvious evidence for this remark have been discovered, thus it looks like a hoax made by his detractors
When questioned about the color of his hair during mandatory Army draft, his explanation was "I'm an artist" in an attempt to keep his hair in the same manner it was even in the army
