History
After several seasons of play in the second-tier Allsvenskan, Mora won promotion to the Elitserien in 2004, and took advantage of the NHL lockout that season to sign several NHL players, including Shawn Horcoff, Daniel Cleary and brothers Marian Hossa and Marcel Hossa, which contributed to the Elitserien being one of the top destinations for NHL players during the cancelled 2004-05 season. They finished 8th that season, a respectable position for a newly-promoted team.External links
