The expensive shopping streets are mostly in the United States, especially in big cities like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. ^{[[Citing sources citation needed]]} New York is home to many designers and bespoke tailors, and is one of the largest shopping market in the world, along with Los Angeles, Paris, Moscow, London and Tokyo. Los Angeles is famous for having exclusive shops based there, often tailored especially to celebrities and the wealthy, an example is Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica. São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro has been growing very much in the shopping industry, and is now the leading cities in South America.
