Motcombe

Motcombe is a village in north Dorset, England, situated in the Blackmore Vale half way between the market towns Gillingham and Shaftesbury. The village has a population of 1,404 (2001).
Activities
Motcombe has an active band of church bell ringers. [St Mary the Virgin] is affiliated to the [Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers (SDGR)]. Ringing practise takes place at the tower every Thursday 1930 to 2100hrs and the bells are rung for every Sunday service starting 0900hrs.
