Mount Coot-tha is suburb and mountain, Mount Coot-tha situated five kilometres west of Brisbane. This mountain is part of the Taylor Range.

It is quite a large mountain, visible from much of the city. There is a tourist drive circling the peak, Sir Samuel Griffith Drive, providing access to a lookout, cafe, gift shop and restaurant. Television channels SBS, ABC, 10, 9 and 7 broadcast have studios here or transmit from towers perched on Mount Coot-tha.

Part of the suburb is residential.
