Mount Makiling, also rarely Mount Maquiling, is located in the province of Laguna, Philippines. It is an inactive volcano, which rises to 1,090 m above sea level. Mount Makiling is dormant with hot springs at nearby Los Baños and Calamba City. Legend surrounds the mountain the folkloric stories of Maria Makiling.
