Mount Monroe (5,380 feet above sea level) is one of the tallest mountains in the state of New Hampshire. It is located within the Presidential Range of the White Mountains. The Lakes of the Clouds lie nestled at the low point along the ridge between Mount Monroe and neighboring Mount Washington.
