Mow Cop

Mow Cop is a village on a high isolated hill in Staffordshire in England.
Its name came from Anglo-Saxon Mūga-hyll = "heap-hill", with copp = "head" added later.
Mow Cop station on the former North Staffordshire Railway closed in 1964.
