Mr. Defensive is the person that always has to defend something, and gets overly worked up about it.

Why are people so defensive? Generally, because the facts are stacked so overwhelmingly against them that they feel they must respond.

People who know nothing wrong has happened usually take a "they'll all eventually find out the truth, I know I'm right" stance.

Usually, the Mr. Defensive type has no idea that further arguing weakens his case even more to the casual observer. Mr. Defensive usually makes his cause look more bad/guilty by the argument!!!!

Finally, issues are generally forgotten or pushed to the back of the mind, but Mr. Defensive keeps bringing them up!

So, right or not, Mr. Defensive quickly becomes irrational and sometimes resorts to name calling and, in a non-virtual forum, fisticuffs.
