Muñecos de Papel was a fictional Mexican pop group that appeared on the 1991 telenovela Alcanzar una estrella II. Its members were Ricky Martin (post-Menudo), Sasha Sokol, Pedro Fernández, Angélica Rivera, Erik Rubin and Bibi Gaytan.

They recorded 2 albums for 2 differents music records companies. The one for Sony Music included: Siento performed by Sasha Sokol, Para Llegar by Angélica Rivera, Juego de Ajedrez by Ricky Martin and the famous Muñecos de Papel. The second album for Melody included: No quiero dejar de brillar and Tan Solo una Mujer by Bibi Gaytan.

They were in a concerts tour visiting some cities of México. The Creative Producer of the Concept was Luis de Llano Macedo former producer of vocal groups such as: Timbiriche, Kabah (band) and Micro Chips. This group could be the model of what started on the 2005 telenovela Rebelde and the RBD phenomenon.
