Muaskar Province

Muaskar (formerly known by the anglicization Mascara) (Arabic: ولاية معسكر) is a city and wilaya in Algeria. There was an earthquake in Muaskar on August 18 1994 - 5.6 on the Richter scale - which killed 171 people.
