Encyclopedia : M : MU : MUL : Multifunctional Utility/Logistics and Equipment
The Multifunction Utility/Logistics and Equipment (MULE) vehicle is an autonomous ground vehicle developed by Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control for the United States Army's Future Combat Systems program.
The proposed MULE design will support three variants:
- Attack and Reconnaissance
- Counter-Mine
- Transport
The most notable feature is the 6 articulating legs that will give the MULE the ability to change it's profile and negotiate large obstacles.
