Multitasking

Multitasking may refer to any of the following:
- Computer multitasking - the apparent simultaneous performance of two or more tasks by a computer's central processing unit.
- Derived from the first sense, multitasking is the colloquial term for a human being's simultaneous handling of multiple tasks.
- --As an example, simultaneously listening to a telephone board meeting on mute, participating in a credit committee, IM'ing daughter, signing legal documents and having chocolate pudding while checking email on blackberry. See JSL.
