Mykelti Williamson

Mykelti Williamson (born March 4 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an African-American actor of part Blackfoot descent. He co-starred in Con Air with Nicolas Cage and appeared as Private Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue in the Academy Award winning 1994 film Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks. He played a supporting role in 1995, in Heat, as an L.A.P.D. detective working with Lt. Vincent Hanna (played by Al Pacino). He also starred in the short lived criminal series "Boomtown".
One of his first major roles was in the short lived revival of the TV series, WKRP in Cincinnati.
