Myrdal station

Myrdal station is on Bergensbanen in the Aurland municipality. The station is also the upper end point of the FlÄmsbana branch line and the majority of passengers using this station are changing trains. There is no road connection to Myrdal although there are some cottages and hotels in the area.
The station is located between two tunnels on Bergensbanen, the Gravahals tunnel to the west and Vatnahals tunnel to the east. Completion of the 5.3 km long Gravahals tunnel was done in 1905. The station is 867 metres above sea level.
