Coordinates: Nærøy is a municipality and town in the county of Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. The Old Norse form of the name is Njarðey ('Njörd's-Isle'), found anglicized as Njardey or less often as Njarthey. Norway's smallest town, Kolvereid is the administration centre of the municipality.
