Nørre-Snede municipality

Nørre-Snede is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Vejle County on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 254 km², and has a total population of 7,266 (2005). Its mayor is Uffe Henneberg, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.
The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Nørre-Snede.
Neighboring municipalities are Brædstrup and Them to the east, Ikast to the north, Herning to the west, Brande to the southwest, and Give and Tørring-Uldum to the south.
The municipality was created in 1970 as the result of a kommunalreform ("Municipality Reform") that merged a number of existing parishes:
- Ejstrup Parish
- Klovborg Parish
- Nørre-Snede Parish
