N17 road

The N17 connects Galway City with Sligo Town in County Sligo. It routes through or past several major towns in the area including Claregalway, Tuam, Milltown, Claremorris, Knock and Ballisodare. People who live in Galway call it the Tuam Road.
N17 is also the name of a popular song by Tuam based band The Saw Doctors.
