NFA-LD

NFA-LD is a form of competitive collegiate debate adapted from high school Lincoln-Douglas debate.
The format of NFA-LD varies from the format of team policy debate. NFA-LD debate is one-on-one debate (thus, there is no negative block) and follows the following structure (total prep time for each debater is 4 minutes):
| First Affirmative Constructive Speech (abbreviated 1AC) | 6 minutes |
| Cross-Examination of First Affirmative by the Negative | 3 minutes |
| First Negative Constructive Speech (1NC) | 7 minutes |
| Cross-Examination of First Negative by Affirmative | 3 minutes |
| First Affirmative Rebuttal (1AR) | 6 minutes |
| First Negative Rebuttal (1NR) | 6 minutes |
| Second Affirmative Rebuttal (2AR) | 3 minutes |
