NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac is a Croatian football club, from Novi Zagreb part of the Croatian capital.
The club was founded in 1975 as NK Trnsko. A year later this was changed to NK Novi Zagreb. It remained this way until the early 1990s. At this point, when the Croatian Homeland War began in 1991 many of the club's members volunteered to fight. When the club resumed play in 1994, it was renamed to Hrvatski Dragovoljac (Croatian Volunteer) in honour of those who fought and lost their lives in the war. It also adopted a new logo incorporating black as the team's colour, symbolizing mourning.
From 1995 to 2002 the club played in the Croatian First League. It currently plays in the Second League.
The team's fans are known as the Crni ratnici (Black Warriors). The club plays out of Siget Stadium which has a capacity of 5000.
