NNDB, ostensibly standing for Notable Names Database, produced by Soylent Communications, is a database of biographical details of notable people. NNDB describes itself as an "intelligence aggregator" containing links between people, and vital statistics about those people – such as birth, death, job history, religion, and biography (inc. criminal record) – also crosslinked. As of April 2006, NNDB contains more than 50,000 entries encompassing over 18,000 profiles of prominent individuals. Readers may suggest additions or corrections which are later vetted by an NNDB staff member. The main page has the most recent celebrity news blurbs from Dr. Sputnik's Society Pages.
