Nagoya Dome

Nagoya Dome (ナゴヤドーム), constructed in 1997, is a baseball field located in the city of Nagoya, Japan. The structure has served as the headquarters of the baseball team Chunichi Dragons since its opening. The dome has the capacity to seat up to 40,500 people.
The Nagoya Dome has also served baseball teams Orix Blue Wave and Kintetsu Buffaloes sometimes during the year. Other entertainment events, like concerts by noted musicians Billy Joel and Luciano Pavarotti, have been held there.
The Nagoya Dome is an example of a geodesic dome.
